Delivering the programme
Through Exploring Elections, students are supported to register to vote. They also learn what elections are for, how how elections are an opportunity for young people to have their say over how their community or country is led.
The assembly can be delivered in 20 to 30 minutes. The workshop required 45 to 60 minutes. The assembly is a condensed version of the workshop, and so you should only deliver one.
The rules around who is eligible to vote differ in each of the four nations - please use the resources appropriate to your nation.
