Cllr Adeoye puts forward a motion for the council to provide more youth provision in Chatham
PLEDGE STATUS: ONGOING
On 16th November 2021, students from St John Fisher Catholic School took part in a Digital Surgery with Cllr Sijuwade Adeoye.
During the surgery, Cllr Adeyoe asked the students “What would you like to see in the local area?” One student replied that they didn’t believe there was enough activities and clubs for young people. She explained “Youth groups and centres should be a thing that happens just to involve the youth more and take their minds of stress such as education and GCSEs - having that is something you can enjoy in your free time”
Cllr Adeoye said she would put forward a motion at the council on behalf of the student to increase the youth provision in Chatham.
